Hi there,

Before we dive in, I’m excited to share that our first monthly giveaway is here! This month, one lucky Founding Member will receive a gorgeous Blushed Bergamot Candle from our wonderful brand partner, L’avant Collective. It’s just one of the many perks of being a Founding Member, in addition to getting first dibs on invitations and front row seats at our salons, so I hope you consider joining. Founding Members pay just little over $1/day, and Paid Subscribers pay less than 30 cents/day! Speaking of salons, our first in-person gathering is happening on Friday April 25th and invitations will be sent first to Founding Members and Paid Subscribers. We have an exciting line up and we can’t wait to share the details and see you IRL. Save the date and keep your eyes peeled for the announcement soon. Huge thanks to L’avant Collective and its amazing Founders Lindsay Droz and Kristi Lord for making beautiful products that are gentle on the planet, and for supporting our community.

Now, on to our regular programming. April is National Stress Awareness Month, and I've been thinking about something universally frustrating and maddening for women: the Ticker (I heard this term first at Glennon Doyle’s Podcast), aka the never-ending Mental Load. Welcome to what I call the Vicious Cycle of Resentment. In this week’s newsletter, I’m sharing what I’ve learned and how I’m trying to break that cycle, with 3 book recs and a few beautiful products to help us stay sane. Grab a seat, and get ready to feel seen 😅.
