Magical Mystery Store Revealed

Though surrounded by love and in vibrant Brazil, I grew up in a serious and spartan household, where aesthetics often took a backseat to pragmatism. So as a deeply visual person, when I was a teenager, the glossy pages of fashion magazines and photography books were the portals that fed my eyes with the inspiration and dreamy imagery that I needed . As I grew older, I looked for more tangible experiences —visiting stores, museums, and creative spaces where those static images came alive, and my love for products, art, and design was born.

Till this day I visit stores constantly, and it’s not just because fashion and retail are part of my career. I just really love them. It helps me understand what the creatives behind them are trying to say. I study their design, the color selection, the scents and music, the people within it—the shoppers, the sellers—and of course, the products themselves. And while the world has changed so much with our digital lives, it’s so exciting to see some brick-and-mortar shops evolve, blending art, beauty and experience.
